Nina & Yuri

Nina & Yuri is a Submission for the Emotional Game Jam 2022, made in 48 hours, with the theme Off-Road and Eternal Return.

You play as Nina, a girl who will need to cross several theater scene to save her soulmate Yuri.

We officially won the Best Emotional Game of the EGJ 2022 ! Thanks You and Good Job to everyone who participate !!

In 2022, the game won the second place in the newbie categorie of the french game creation competition : La Game Cup.

We decided to interpret the theme Off-Road by making a Level Design that is non-linear and tricks the player's mind as he as to think of the environment in three dimensions and two dimensions in the same time. 

Eternal Return is the feeling of doing something on repeat, like the goal of saving someone in a plateform game, or a theater piece that play on repeat !. 

As for the emotion, we wanted to give the player an heartwarming and cozy experience with a cute background, atmosphere and story or a women who want to save her loved one. As well as working on the surprise with the main mecanics of our game.
